When it comes to the numerous passages in the Old Testament concerning the Mosaic Law, it’s easy for us, as 21st century believers, to simply gloss over them. We know that God’s Word contains everything pertaining to life and godliness, yet we tend to view the Law as “old news,” contrary to the “good news.” But even in Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy, the beautiful truths of the gospel shine forth. In this sermon, guest speaker Tim Matthews looks particularly at the concept of Sabbath Rest and how it applies to us as believers under the New Covenant today.
