The Church is filled with incredible stories.  Many of these stories are shared over cups of coffee or during a Sunday morning service.  But are we effectively sharing these stories beyond the “walls” of the church?  That’s a big question to explore…with the even bigger question: HOW?  Digital and visual media (internet, video, social media, live events) provide an enormous opportunity to share these stories.  But it often is also an enormous challenge to do so with excellence and regularity.  So…how do we tackle communicating in a way the next generation is digesting information?

Let’s have lunch…and talk through these topics on Friday, March 20 at 12:30pm.  Elmira Christian Center will host Matt Gould, Kingdom Bound Ministries Chief Operating Officer, who will lead a KBCreative Networking Workshop titled: “Visual Media: Telling Stories that Inspire”.  Prior to being named COO of Kingdom Bound, Matt invested over 20 years in a Television/Video career that has taken him around the world producing live events and documentary videos.  He​’s covered Presidential Debates & Super Bowls, he’s produced videos from mission trips to Europe and Africa, and has served as a Media Director of a large local church in Buffalo, NY.  Most recently, Matt spent 8 seasons with the Buffalo Sabres has Director of the MSG Game Broadcast.

Matt has a passion for the local church…and a desire to see the church spread its wings in storytelling via digital media.  Most of all, he wants to connect with regional church leaders and share his vision for how to make that happen.  This event is especially important for Senior Pastors, Worship Leaders, Youth Leaders and Media Leaders.  Join us on the 20th…Kingdom Bound will be providing lunch.  Please RSVP to [email protected] so that we can get as an accurate a count as possible.
