Spiritual Formation
đź“„Spiritual Formation for the FamilyÂ
This collection of essays from Mere Orthodoxy is meant to help with the spiritual formation of the family. Spiritual formation is after heart and soul-level transformation, not surface level optimization. If we want our family to be formed in the image of Christ, an image patterned on the relationship between God and his people, then we need to do the deeper work of reorienting our entire imagination of what it means to be a family. It covers topics such dependence, dignity, fidelity, education, masculinity, wisdom, and even the market conditions that allow families to flourish. Thinking well about these things is critical to the health of our families.
Catechisms
Catechisms simply teach biblical truth in an orderly way and have been used throughout the history of the church. Generally this is done with questions and answers accompanied by biblical support and explanation.
- A Catechism for Toddlers & Preschoolers. This is a short, 36-question catechism for ages 2-5. Most of the questions have one-word answers.
- New City Catechism. AÂ modern-day resource aimed at helping children and adults alike learn the core doctrines of the Christian faith via 52 questions and answers. It is based on the great Reformation-era catechisms.
- Catechesis Books. This publisher provides resources to "nurture the blossoming soul." Their Baby Believer Primers are intended to help you teach your children the central teachings of the Christian faith that they may never know a day apart from the Lord.

Westminster Kids
Westminster Kids was built with a vision to help parents, grandparents, educators, and caregivers discover biblically faithful books for children. This ministry has books that distill rich theology for the youngest mind, books that make big truths delightfully simple, but not simplistic, books that fight against moralism and point to Jesus, books that remind our children—and ourselves—to set their hope in God.
