Compelled to Speak of Jesus (Acts 4:13-22)

As Christians, we love to hear inspiring stories of believers who lived boldly for the cause of Christ. We are deeply moved by the passionate witness of missionaries, evangelists, and martyrs.  But what about us? Can we be so bold? Can we be like Peter and John, who stood before the Jewish council that crucified their Lord, yet spoke clearly and without fear ? How can we find the strength to bear witness to Jesus in a hostile world? In this sermon, Pastor Matt teaches that the Holy Spirit enables Christians to be utterly convinced and urgently outspoken about the risen Lord Jesus. Despite the tragic blindness of our world, the Spirit gives followers of Jesus an unmistakable boldness and an uncontainable gospel witness.
