“Peace be to the brothers, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with love incorruptible” (Eph. 6:23-24). So Paul concludes his epistle to the Ephesians, yet even here we are once again presented with the overarching themes of this beautiful book: peace, love, and grace. The apostle has been painting a glorious picture before our eyes of the myriad of spiritual blessings we have by grace through faith in Christ alone, as well as God’s marvelous plan to unite all things in heaven and on earth in Him. In this sermon, Pastor Dave provides an overview of Ephesians, reminding the church of her spiritual blessings and the unsearchable riches of Christ, in order that our lives might redound to the praise of the Father of glory.
