Writing to the Corinthians, the Apostle Paul makes a staggering declaration: “If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins. . . . If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied” (1 Cor. 15:17-19). The claims of Jesus, the truth of Christianity, and the very gospel of our salvation all hinge on the resurrection. The good news is that Jesus not only was delivered up for our trespasses, but was also raised for our justification (Rom. 4:25). In this sermon, guest preacher TJ Freeman (pastor of Wellsboro Bible Church) presents six evidences for the resurrection of Jesus and unpacks the implications both for the world and the life of the church.
