The Lord of the Strong and Weak, part 1 (Romans 14:1-4)

In Romans 14-15, Paul addresses the non-essential issues that were causing strife in the church at Rome. And the principles laid out here continue to teach us how to handle matters of conscience while preserving gospel fellowship. In this sermon, pastor Matt begins to show us that Christians are to love and accept all those whom God has accepted at the Lord’s table. For when our view of those who belong to Christ is based on God’s view of them, the result is a church characterized not by worldly strife but joy and peace.
