“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” Revelation 12:11 is one of the most victorious, assuring, and epic verses in the Bible, but it is often taken out of its context and reduced to a mere formula for “name it and claim it” and “word of faith” theologies. In this sermon, Pastor Dave looks into Psalm 145, Revelation 12, and Ezra 7 and teaches on how exactly we are able to overcome: through God’s all-conquering love, lives lived free from condemnation and fear under the blood of the Lamb, and immersing ourselves in the Word of God.
