In America today, the temptation is to think that if we can just get the right candidate elected, the right justices appointed, and prayer back in school, then we would be “one nation under God.” But how is the church to make a difference in the world for God’s glory? What do we find in Scripture about how the church should pursue change in society? Luke’s account of the riot in Ephesus gives us a simple but profound answer. In this sermon, Pastor Matt shows that the church impacts the world most effectively through lives changed by the gospel we proclaim. As we preach the good news of Jesus, and live like he truly is the King of the world, not only will hearts be changed, but our city will be impacted by the gospel.
