While it is clear that we are living in an increasingly secular age, it is actually quite religious. More and more people desire a spiritual identity that gives them purpose and meaning in this life, and seek to fill the void left by religion with a host of idols such as entertainment, self-expression, romance, wellness, and politics. So, how should Christians live in a world full of idols and dominated by non-Christian ideologies? In this sermon, Mitch Bedzyk explains that Christians must confront the idols of our culture with nothing but the gospel. Our secular society has its own web of beliefs that must be understood, examined, and challenged in light of Scripture. We must constantly seek to bring those spiritually famished to the feast of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
