“For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.” (Gal. 6:8). As we move towards the end of the letter to the Galatians, Paul has been explaining some practical ways in which believers can demonstrate a life transformed by the gospel of grace. In this sermon, Pastor Matt explores the principle of sowing and reaping. He explains how generosity – the eager willingness to serve one another in love through the giving of our time, talents, and treasures – is the only logical and proper result of having experienced the grace, mercy, and loving-kindness of Jesus Christ. It is the chief way that love, fulfilling the law of Christ, manifests itself (Gal. 6:2; 2 Cor. 9:6-8; 1 Tim. 6:17-19).
