Today, ministry ‘success’ is often defined by visible, tangible, quantifiable, and impressive results. But God’s Word is clear that “results” are up to God alone. We can plant the seed and water the soil, “but God gives the growth” (1 Cor. 3:6). So, if God alone is responsible for results (conversions, numerical growth, revival, etc.), what determines ministry success? The biblical definition is faithfulness. In this sermon, Pastor Matt teaches that a right understanding of God will compel us to faithfully proclaim his glory to the world. When our eyes have seen the King in his beauty, and when we have been transformed by his grace, it will be our joy to respond by telling the glories of his holy love to our neighbors and the nations, no matter the results.
