Luke’s Gospel was written so that we would know for certain all that was fulfilled by Jesus Christ in God’s great plan of redemption. He tells the story of the love and mercy of God in that “the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost” (Luke 19:10). As we preach through Luke this year, we will see the message of Jesus as being one of hope and transformation for all mankind. While we as a church have been making disciples, growing in our knowledge of God and His Word, this year we are going to be intentional about bringing this message of salvation, hope, and eternal life in Christ to our communities. In this sermon, Pastor Leandre shares the vision for our church in 2017 as being the year of going after “the one”: earnestly sharing the gospel with, and opening up our lives to, our friends, neighbors, and co-workers.
