Our God is a speaking God; he is a communicating God who reveals his glory in, through, and to his creation. As noted Christian apologist Francis Schaeffer put it: “He is there and He is not silent.” The apostle Paul writes that, “his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So [we] are without excuse” (Rom 1:20). However, God has not only revealed himself in his creation but also in his Word and, ultimately, in the person of Jesus Christ. In this sermon, Mitch Bedzyk explains the Christian doctrine of revelation and how the glory of God is revealed in the world and in his all-sufficient, perfect, and holy Word.
