The prophet Ezekiel’s vision of the valley of dry bones is often preached and understood to be nothing more than an illustration of the faith we must possess in order to “speak life” into our circumstances. However, this faulty interpretation falls miserably short of the glorious gospel truths being communicated and places the focus exclusively on man and his abilities. In this sermon, in which Pastor Dave looks at Mark 5:21-43 and Ezekiel 37:1-14, we see that salvation has absolutely nothing to do with the level of our faith but the object of our faith: it is God alone who brings those dead in trespasses and sins to life.
